I don't think it is gorse as it is not all prickles, those green bits are too fat and not sharp and gorse has no red in the flower. Very pretty though.
It is some sort of native - Banksia maybe or something similar. I was thinking of gorse too but I am pretty sure gorse does not exist in Oz!! It sure does in NZ having been brought here by those English wanting to create another England in the Antipodes!!
