  12. this is one of the local beaches we walk on of an evening, That tree looks so beautiful in certain lights but I never get a photo of how my eye sees it.I called that shot Gods Garden because it is just like that to me but alas not so much in this photo!

    Is it the volcanic rock that makes it look like Italy??

  13. No, the trees and the house look like it's an Italian olive garden. That tree has the same color (at least on this photo) as an old olive tree :)

  15. I love those little birds, they are so cute. Looks a bit like our Lourie, but with red heads. Must show you the pic of the red faced Mousebird, they have arrived this year again. So strange, they pop in every autumn for a couple of weeks, eating something at the old peach trees next door, sleeping huddled together in the gnarled indigenous tree in our cottage garden.
