  4. nice to smile eh!! yes they are well camaflaged in that tree - I had no ideqa what birds they were until I looked at the photo. I used my 400ml lens and then cropped on the computer. Wet here too and windy as!!

  7. We have escaped ones of those here, they hang out with the Quaker parrots.

  8. yes there are a few places in the world where escaped lorikeets set up colonies. I think where Lois is and Mia there are populations now. Nice to think they teamed up with another species of parrot. The Quaker parrot looks very much like a budgie - looked it up on wikki!
