An ordinary photo
The photo above is just a normal snapshot one might take out while walking. This is what I did with the one above. To me, as a photo - nice, but a very ordinary looking one - it does not really grab ya! In this case, being a photo of Michelle, I might like looking at it so I would probably do something with it to give it a bit more umph or closer look! So lets look at the possibilities....
A Panoramic???
Or even a regular close up.
Again these are not really exceptional Photographs and of no real interest to anyone except myself. But look back now to the original and see if you can see anything in that photo that might make you say Wow!!!!!!. From a photo very similar to this I won the Picture Perfect Competition - Distortion here on multipy - hard to believe eh!! Not hard to believe I won but that the original photo could produce a winner! Now look below and you will see where I found what is to me a form of art that I love to find among my photos. It is something I saw and if you now look further you will see what my eye caught and might win a competition
This is what I saw and where I cropped the photo.
This is it and now turn it 180 degrees.........
and...
This is the final product. To me it looks a but impressionist - surreal even. The thought of a shadow world comes to mind - a world beyond the distorted mirror. This I call Art - not mine, but something resembling art, created from light caught in an image I captured - kinda funny way to put it but this is one stye I love creating most as a photographic hobbiest. I have attached an album of 20 photos of similar types of 'Art' images for you to look at further. I hope this inspires some of you to also start to look beyond the ordinary and find something personal to your personality and your eye for art. Maybe now a whole new world willl open for you as it did for me. Thanks for reading and looking.'
